Diamond Core is a solution for non-commercial applications aimed at prototyping and educational use.

Diamond Core combines a Diamond C6000 Licence, Diamond C6000 Multicore Licence and Diamond Xilinx Licence in a cost-effective product.

The licences last for one year and support pre-defined hardware configurations.

Diamond Core limitations in detail

- Prototyping and educational use only

Diamond Core allows you to build prototypes and applications for educational use.

The licences included in Core do not allow you to distribute applications commercially; if you need to create commercial applications, you must use Diamond Premium.

- Stand-alone applications disabled

Diamond Core does not allow you to build applications which can be embedded into an on-board ROM.

Diamond Core applications must be loaded using the 3L Diamond Server and require the Diamond USB dongle.

- Fixed hardware systems

Diamond Core limits you to a number of predefined hardware configurations.

If you wish to target a configuration that is not supported you should purchase Diamond Premium.

Royalties

Diamond Core disallows commercial use.
